I have been going to this location for most of my life, I have been to tons of similar places all over Northern NY, the Finger Lakes region and Columbus,OH. My family and I still swear by Golden Cheng, a solid selection, fast friendly service, everything is fresh and delicious. I have asked them to modify menu items and they kindly and accurately do. Portions and pricing are generous. Outstanding place.

It is 85 degrees outside, and yet these dedicated professionals ( and in my opinion essential workers)are visibly wearing masks!! Don't ask me how Carthage NY ended up with some of the best Chinese food around.... but it is what it is! Customer service is above and beyond and prices are great!

Great place for either Dine in or Pickup. I’ve ordered food from here dozens of times and it’s always terrific- best in the area for sure. They always give you a good estimate on the time it will take and they have free chopsticks if you want to use them. They always toss in fortune cookies for no additional fee (some places seem to forget but never here). I even got a free eggroll one time when i ordered so i had to call back and thank them for their kindness! Whether you choose to dine in or eat out, their service is always impeccable and with a smile. Lastly, it’s always cool inside during the summer on hot days and nice and toasty during the winter, even if you might not see the store from the road due to snowbanks it’s never a bad idea to stop here for lunch or dinner.
Hands down the superior Chinese place in Carthage. Far more friendly, food is better and you get more.
